The DBT Center of Utah has clinicians trained in multiple evidence-based trauma informed therapies. At The DBT Center of Utah, our goal in providing trauma-informed therapy is to help you gain a sense of relief from previous traumatic experiences and increase your freedom to build a life worth living.

We offer the following types of evidence-based trauma-informed treatments (which means they have been through many studies and research to determine that it is an effective practice) for clients who would like to address trauma:

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Experiential and Expressive Therapy in the form of Sand Tray, Mind-Body
    Connection, and Imagery
